Once again, I was requested by Swiftfeather to conduct a photoshoot for her as she had prepared an outfit as Mahigashi Teru from the medical manga series God Hand Teru.
For those who saw my recent post/shoot for Trauma Team may recognize the location of this place to be the same as Republic Polytechnic is the only place I know that looks somewhat like a hospital other than being at a real hospital or clinic itself.
A few problems that arose are framing and composition, as you can see below the first image is very similar to one of the Trauma Team pictures I took not long ago. I figured one picture I could get away with, no more no less. Luckily for the Trauma Team shoot, hardly any indoor shots were taken so I decided to make full use of the interior of the buildings as you can see below. Observation of other people’s photoshoots makes me realize that its common for photoshoot locations to be overly used in Singapore as the island itself is limited due to its small size. A friend once stated that even though the locations for photoshoots were overly used its the framing and composition of the shot that makes it stand out from the rest, however I didn’t really put that into action this shoot, I plan to keep note of it for future shoots.
As for photoshoot editing, although I try to keep the editing to a minimal, the posters I attempt to recreate like the 4th picture you see below turned out to be pretty crappy. Hopeful I improve in this area also.
