Once again I find myself in company of the lovely Yang, Hexlord and Shinji. I’ll keep it short for this week as university assignments are crawling up fast as it’s now the end of week 8 as I write this.
Anyway for those not familiar with this anime series, as the title suggests Yang has cosplayed Kurai (pronounced Cry) from the series Angel Sanctuary. Although I can’t say I’ve read the series the synopsis does sound interesting but I’m not really the type to read manga as I heard the anime adaptation wasn’t very good. I just realized that my naming convention for photos have been pretty unimaginative or plain throughout almost every single cosplay photoshoot I’ve done so far. Reason for this is that if I’m unfamiliar with the series I won’t force myself into giving the photo a proper title although I do feel the title of a photo is important I won’t force one upon it unless either I already had a title in mind, or that I’m familiar with the series and a scene or quote comes to mind as well or that some of the character’s traits or personality is expressed in the photo. If there is none I’ll usually just stick to the series and/or character’s name plus a numerical value, I feel there is no really point in jumping to conclusions or making guess at a title where it makes no sense or has no link at all thus spoiling the photo or confusing the viewer.
